    Excellent design. Comfortable.

Fantastic design that almost has an Asia quality which I like. Minimalist look. The simple Nike logo looks great. My only gripe is the sole texture has little bumps that look like raw chicken bumps but its not noticeable or a big deal.

Wider toebox than previous models. Firmer than previous models. Still very flexible. Great for working out and walking.

I usually dont wear these type of shoes for everything but they are so comfortable given that I have wide feet when stepping down

    Comfort and beyond...

One of the most comfortable Nike shoes I've ever purchased. I truly wanted a good walking shoe that was comfortable. This shoe has delivered, and it looks cool too. Nice job, Nike, on this one.

    Runs small

Better go a half size up. Im normally a 9.5 in air maxs etc but these run a little small in my opinion. I had to exchange them for a size 10.

Good training shoes, not the best.

I really liked the materials quality and how they built, how light and thin they are, they are very comfortable as well. But the color combinations are ridiculous. And they fit very small, like full size, not just half. Had to return them. Hope to see new colors.

    Comfortable and Flexible

The Nike Free RN is a solid choice for anyone looking for a lightweight, flexible shoe that feels almost like a second skin. It fits true to size and has a snug, sock-like feel that wraps around your foot comfortably. Because of this close fit, Id recommend wearing a thinner sock for the best experience.

One thing to note is the chunky soleits not my favorite design element, but it doesnt take away from the shoes overall performance. It still provides good support and flexibility, making it a great option for being active. If youre looking for a quality shoe that moves with you, the Nike Free RN is worth considering.

Dont judge a shoe by its cover

The Nike Free RN Men's Road Running Shoes definitely didnt have the best shoe appeal straight out of the box. Initially, my expectations were set low, but when I picked them up they were so soft and lightweight I immediately started to change my mind. When Im buying running shoes, I want something light and comfortable, and these shoes did not disappoint in those areas. I usually worry about how they look on last. Little did I know when I put them on they would also look good. They dont necessarily reinvent the wheel, but the black and white color-way is always a classic color combination. Black and white will go with anything you wear, and therefore making it an easy choice to wear every time. The appearance is very minimalistic and simple. Even though its a little basic in design, the mesh material gives it a nice texture. I like how simple the design is and shows how something can be super unembellished, but still do just enough. Every week I like to go for a run and thought these shoes would be perfect for that. As soon as I put them on, they hug to your feet. They have a sock mesh type of fabric that conforms to your foot making it very snug yet pleasant. I was even happier to feel how comforting they were to wear for long periods of time. After running in these shoes, I got to feel how great the traction was. In addition to, the material make it incredibly easy for my feet to get air and not feel too hot. One thing that I thought could be better is, although the shoe has great traction on the bottom, inside the shoe where your foot goes doesnt have any grip. Now I didnt have a problem with this when I was running, but I wore them to a boxing class and theres a lot of intricate footwork involved. While in class, I noticed my foot had moments of slipping and sliding inside the shoe. I think its because the mesh is so stretchy theres nothing to hold your foot in place. This isnt necessarily a deal breaker, but now I know that I will definitely just keep these for running and everyday use. These are also shoes that make it easy to travel with, because they are not bulky, stiff or heavy. Overall, I will gladly be using these shoes every chance I get, they'll go with anything I wear and are so lightweight I forget they're even on. These will be an easy constant in my sneakers rotation.

    Nike Free RN 2025

The Nike Free RN shoe offers great affordability and a unique design that stands out for its excellent breathability. One of the best features is the flexible front sole, with built-in slits that provide a comfortable, natural feel underfoot. I also enjoyed how easily the shoes broke in, after just a couple of wears they felt well-molded to my feet.
When I wore them to run they were nothing fancy, they did not have much cushion or stability. Since I like not having a ton of cushion this worked for me, but may be something for others to consider. The lightweight tongue, while contributing to the shoes overall light feel, might benefit from a bit more padding to help with comfortability from the pressure of the laces. Probably the thing that was the most frustrating was how slippery the shoes are, the bottom of the shoes have almost no grip and it is very easy to slip on normal flooring, I hope they address that in their next iteration.
Overall, the Nike Free RN is a contender in the affordable running shoe market. With a few refinements, it has the potential to become even more compelling.

    Comfortable Dailys

THIS... Is the Free Run Road Running sneaker, a low top athletic shoe that really allows you to do anything. These have quickly turned into my daily shoe for two reasons: first, they are really comfortable without having to really break them after a few runs. The sneaker also hugs not snugs your foot, and the shoe is comfortable at all activity levels. Second, these shoes slip on (without untying) so well without becoming lose that throwing them on in the morning before work is a breeze. I wear these at work (nurse) for 12 hours and never feel my feet ache or get uncomfortable. These were really good for my quick 5k loop, and I am excited to see how they feel on longer runs as well. Something I wanted to note is that aesthetically, they are average. The black/white combo goes with anything and while the white shows dirt somewhat easy; it is just as easy to clean. These are fantastic everyday or work shoes, and have quickly turned into my go too's.

    Return of the Free!

After a few years the Free running has a new look and it is better than ever. I own two pairs of the 2018 Frees, Navy and Black - and theyre as versatile as a shoe can get. You could run a few miles in them, wear them with joggers or even wear with jeans. This new version improves upon the earlier version in both style and comfort. Theyre super lightweight, have incredible cushioning, durable support and a wide toe box. The black/white coloring keeps the Frees simplistic but modern style going in a great way. Overall these are true to size, I have a wider front foot and these fit well in my normal size.

Can't go wrong with Nike Free

I love how lightweight, comfortable, and breathable the Nike Free is and I've been a fan for years. While this specific pair isn't my favorite that I've owned, it still checks every box I'd have for this model. Definitely a great shoe for running on the treadmill or out in the streets, and can be worn casually as well.

Light on Your Feet, Tough in the Gym

The Nike Free RN Mens Road Running Shoes are by far some of the lightest shoes I've ever owned. I was in the market for a versatile pair that could handle both treadmill runs and weightlifting sessions, and these shoes have delivered across the board. When selecting gym footwear, I focus on three key factors: weight, comfort, and breathabilityand these shoes excel in each category.

    Weight?

Lets start with the weight. These shoes are incredibly light, compared to other pairs I've worn. The packaging is just as minimal, which I really appreciate. Its eco-friendly, using minimal waste and featuring environmentally-conscious tags.

    Comfort

?In terms of comfort, these shoes did not disappoint. They were ready to go right out of the box, with a little break-in time needed for normal or heavy use. That said, during the first 2-3 workouts, I did experience some mild rubbing around the heel cushion, which caused a bit of discomfort. However, this was only temporary, as the heel cushion quickly molded to the shape of my foot. This slight discomfort was the only issue I encountered, and its worth noting that everyone's feet are differentso Id recommend wearing them around the house a bit before your first intense workout to ensure theyre fully broken in.

    Breathability

?Finally, the breathability of these shoes is impressive. The mesh material is not only lightweight but also incredibly breathable, keeping my feet cool during runs and lifting sessions. Even after a tough workout, the shoes didnt retain any unwanted odor when I tossed them in my gym bag, which is a huge plus.

    Conclusion

?Overall, I highly recommend the Nike Free RN Mens Road Running Shoes to anyone looking for a solid gym shoe or a comfortable, breathable option for all-day wear. Whether you're hitting the gym or just need a reliable sneaker, these shoes offer the perfect balance of lightness, comfort, and breathability.

    Comfort and support on deck

The Nike Free RN are a good combination of comfort and stability with just the right amount of weight and balance. They are not bulky like some running shoes (sole wise) but that doesnt take away from the comfort. My only concern would be around the arch area. Its not bad but I know peoples feet are different and its curvy and molded for support. Ive ran outdoors and worn them in the gym. Its my new go-to shoe for both!

    Steady does it

On first wear, I was a bit worried that the shoes ran small. The heel tab was bothering me about 3hrs into wear.
Took them out for a run and some walks and by day 2 they fit like a glove! Although I will say the toe box is a little tighter than other models.

The design of the shoes exterior is classic, very clean and easy to read. The color blocking and logo placement reminds me of golf shoe designs, I felt like I could wear these to the office, gym, outdoor exercise and honestly even day to day. I received MULTIPLE compliments on them.

Maybe my favorite part is the fly knit material, if thats correct. Nike shoes were my introduction into the fabric many years ago. These feel just as comfortable as I remember them, form fitting and secure around the top of my feet. The soles are superb, I need to put more hours on them but I feel like these things are gonna hold up nicely. I wore them 3-4 days straight, through concrete, asphalt and dirt while walking/running.

My second favorite part, the arch design. I usually tend to shy away from shoes that try to really make the silhouette of the arch a point in design. The first day again for me took some adjusting but now Im really appreciating the support it gives me there.

    Lightweight and Comfortable

My husband recently started running again and these are the shoes he's wearing now. They're super lightweight and breathable, so much so that he sometimes forgets he's even wearing them! He has wide feet, so he needs to be very picky with running shoes to make sure his feet can lay naturally. The Flyknit material stretches, giving him the space and comfort he needs. At first, he noticed the arch of the shoe more than usual, but after wearing them for a while he no longer feels it. These shoes definitely give his feet the freedom to move and run as he pleases. Highly recommend!

    Very Firm Shoe!

If youre looking for a very firm running shoe then the Nike Free RN Road Running Shoe is the one for you! The Nike Free RN is very lightweight with a very firm outsole. For running shoes I rather prefer a midsole that has more cushion and is more bouncy. Another aspect of the shoe I did not really like is that the midsole is raised too high near the arch of the foot area which made the run a little uncomfortable. The shoe is extremely lightweight with a subtle design that doesnt really standout. With a firm midsole I believe these shoes would be great gym shoes for the squat rack. Overall these would be not my preferred choice for running shoes. I much more prefer the Nike Pegasus.

Great option if you prioritize flexibility and comfort!

The Nike Free RN Men's Road Running Shoes are very lightweight and flexible. It almost feels like you're not wearing any shoes at all. They're extremely comfortable even if you are not into running and want to wear this for everyday use. For running, these will definitely provide extra flexibility, comfort, and stability. I felt that I could go faster with these shoes.

I also like that these do not stand out too much and so can be used for casual everyday stuff as well. If you're not into running but just want a comfortable shoe for everyday, this is the one.

They do feel a bit tight or snug so you may want to go half a size up if you want a more relaxed feel, if you like the snugness you will be perfectly fine with your own size.

Overall, I would 100% recommend this shoe for daily runs, the gym, or just everyday comfort!

    Very Light and Very Comfy

I knew as soon as I picked up the box that I was going to love these. They are super light weight and they fit just like a sock, so you hardly notice that they are there while you are running. I really like how the bottom of the is slit so that the shoe bends with your foot, it seems as if these are less stiff than some running shoes because of this mixed with the mesh/fabric uppers. I also like the added cushion on the bottom of the shoe to lessen the impact. I think that the fabric is super breathable which makes it very nice while running. I think my favorite part of these is how light they are, but at the same time if I could change something about the shoe I would sacrifice a little bit of that to add a one more strip of rubber on the bottom of the shoe near the middle of my foot for some added traction.

    Another hit from Nike!

Another hit from Nike! These shoes are so comfortable and a little throwback to my fly knit era. These shows are great for running and great for throwing on and going about your day. The low profile makes them sleek and chic while the sole and insider are supportive and cushioned. A black shoe with a white sole also makes for the best dressed up or dressed down outfit. I can go to work and then to the gym in the same shoes. In the past, my fly knit shoes have stretched a bit over time which has made them less supportive but I feel this new version is a bit stiffer in a good way. Will continue to wear them multiple times a week.

    A little too Snug

I was really excited to try this product out as Ive been on the hunt for a new pair of running shoes. The design is great. I also love the recycled material being used. The mesh upper does allow the shoe to be breathable. I had no issues with my feet sweating. In addition the chunkier heel allows for more shock absorption while running. Noticed less knee aggravation with this pair. My only caveat is I felt that the shoes were too snug. I had to trade out my thicker socks for a thinner pair which doesnt bode well when running outside in the cold. I definitely wouldve thought the mesh would have given some stretch to the shoes but I didnt feel any.

I would like to follow up in several weeks to ensure that the shoes are well broken in and see how I adjust to them.

    Good but has a downside

These are super light and flexible, almost like youre not wearing shoes. They fit snug and move with your foot, which is great for quick runs or everyday wear. After a while, though, the top started to pinch a bit. Another thing I experienced was the laces easily coming undone if not double knotted. If you need a lot of cushioning or plan on running long distances, these might not be the best choice. But if you like that natural, barefoot feel, theyre still a solid pick.

    Nike Free 2025, they're alright

So, I am always excited to try out the new iterations of Nike running sneakers each year and the free is no exception. The 2025 model is super lightweight, I'd say probably the lightest Nike running shoe I've tried to date. Also, the heel stack is much higher than previous years. As someone who often gets blisters on their heels, these shoes did not cause any problems. The bottom is still quite flexible, as you would expect from a Nike Free, but I found it to be less flexible than previous models. When I say previous models, I am referring to the Free RN 2019 and the Nike Free 2. The cushion is firmer than I was expecting. The upper is also quite breathable. They have a little bit more ankle support than the 2019s and the 2s as well. I think the spotty design on the midsole looks cool in the daylight. The thin tongue is also quite nice as I do not even feel it on my foot. Personally, I think they make a solid casual shoe and walking shoe for someone with a $100 budget. For running, I like to have a little more squish under my foot, and if that is your desire, I highly recommend the Nike Infinity Fun 4. The arch support in the Free 2025 and the Infinity Run 4 is identical and very comfortable. I would also highly advise ordering a half size up from normal, as the toe box is a little tight on my big toe. If I could change anything, I would go for a fly knit version of these rather than the knit these are using. Once that releases, I'll be sure to pick up a pair :) Overall, decent shoe for the price.
