Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns or exchanges on full-priced merchandise within 30 days of the delivery date. Items must be in original condition, with tags attached and accompanied by the original receipt.
A $10–$15 return label fee (depending on the cost) will be deducted from your refund for returns.
Sale merchandise and all launch products are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
We offer free exchanges for different sizes or styles—no return label fee applies.
To initiate a return or exchange, log in to your account, go to your order history, and select the return or exchange option.
Please note:
We do not accept returns for damaged shoe boxes. All shoes are securely packaged, and we are not responsible for carrier handling.
Minor glue marks on the sole or upper are not considered defects. These are normal from the manufacturer, and such cosmetic imperfections do not qualify for return.
To start a return or exchange, log in to your account, go to your order history, and select the option to initiate a return or exchange.
Cancellations:
Please note that cancellations are permitted for EQL launches, but will incur a $25 cancellation fee.
For all other orders, cancellations are only accepted within 30 minutes of the order being placed. After this period, cancellations will no longer be possible.
Refunds:
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
- Shipping charges are nonrefundable.
Condition of Returned Items:
- All returned items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition with packaging intact and resellable.
- Shoeboxes should not have any tape or shipping labels on them.
Return Process:
- For in-store returns, bring the item(s), original email confirmation, photo ID, and the credit card used for the purchase to any Denim Exchange retail store.
- Alternatively, you can initiate a return/exchange online through our website.
International Returns:
- Unfortunately, we do not accept international returns or exchanges at this time.
- We are not liable for any duty or tax charges incurred at customs.
Gift Returns:
- Received a gift from Denim Exchange? Here's how to handle returns:
- Call 1-323-604-9526 to initiate a return for a gift item.
- Items with a receipt can be exchanged or returned for a Denim Exchange Store Credit.
Backordered Items:
- If an item is on backorder, here's what you need to know:
- Backordered items will ship at a later date, and we'll provide an approximate ship date when you add the item to your bag and during checkout.
- Your credit card will be authorized on the order date, but you won't be charged until the item ships.
- We'll notify you via email if there are any changes to the backorder ship date.
