first I just want to say the shoe itself is fine. Great shoe, quality and style is what you expect from nike/jordans. Love nikes and love jordans. Everything from baseball caps to boxer/brief underwear.
My issue is why can I get shoes that are everyday shoes but never able to get the ones I really want. I understand that popular shoes are going to be in higher demand so the chances of getting the shoe is harder, but every single half way popular shoe???
I always have to go to sockx, flightclub, goat to get the shoe and then pay 2 to 3 times more than retail (which i dont mind most times because of economics) but when your children, wife and myself wants a particular pair shoes, forget about it.
So do I have to join a club or have some secret password to get a pair of shoes I want??? Please tell me. I'll pay the membership fee or go through the website and buy other things to get enough points???!!! I wait hours on the site to "save my place in line" I have my payments all ready. I know I have money in my accounts (bank debit, bank credit, paypal and ACH from bank account) im staring at my phone until the button with the price pops up. I will click on the button, choose my size and click payment all in 4 seconds. Then makes me wait 20 mins to tell me I didnt get the shoe. What BS...
I think I need to sit with my family and choose a new brand to be loyal to, because nike hasn't or doesn't care about the average everyday people. Nike used to be great but within the last 10 to 15 years it has gotten stupid to buy a pair of shoes you want. Yeah we are switching from Nike. I dont know which brand but there are plenty we can choose without having to jump though hoops to buy a shoe.
Asics are better running shoes, Birkenstock for any sandals (no more mules or Mind 001) , Converse (hold up are they nike too?), DC shoes for my boy, Ewings sort of ugly shoe but hopefully they bring back the classic style, Fallen skating shoes more options, Hoka better than Nikes anyway, K-swiss love the classics, NEW BALANCE way more comfortable!!, here we come Reebok, Saucony and Sketchers (love the slip-ons), back to Timberland for boots and trail shoes, Vans for my boy who skates No more SB, and finally back to Uggs for my wife and daughter. I think this farewell Nike and i'm sure "1" customer wont matter to Nike but I have friends and family. I have a real brick n mortar business where customer service is a priority. We are active community members in our small town in Virginia. Do better for the people who are loyal to you. let a deserving customer get a shoe for retail instead 3x at a reseller. stop with all the tricks and secret password finds. I'm 50 and I buy 10s of thousands in shoes annually. Just let my daughter get a shoe she saved up for and now she has to pay 3 or 4 times the price. "Jus do it right" for you customers
