The latest take on Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design sees the sneaker’s upper covered in patterned fabrics. Understated black and white squares appear alongside traditional tartan, creating a disparate arrangement. The kid’s Air Jordan, however, ups the experimental ante by also featuring different shades of orange across the top and bottom-halves. Midsoles heavily favor a tamer finish than their surroundings, although fighter jet-inspired “teeth” indulge in vibrant citrus flair. Traction keeps things simple, although the Jumpman logo at the forefoot boasts an orange makeover that interrupts the muted tooling.
