Nike Big Kids Ava Rover - Black

I didn�t purchase these from Nike, but I got the pink and tan color from another store. I�m not a kid, but I thought they were super cute without looking too young for my age. They are very comfortable lots of cushioning for my feet as well and they are very stylish!

My 7-year-old son has been wearing these Ava Rover shoes for the past week. He loves the look of them and feels very stylish! The color is neat, not one you see often. He likes the shape and feel. They're sporty but also great in shorts and a T-shirt for being active around town. They're comfortable with some room to grow. I appreciate the half sizes (he's in a 1.5) because he's between sizes 1 and 2. They fit true to size and are very supportive. He's a very active kid, constantly running and getting dirty. While the fit was wonderful and he feels supported, I do wish they cleaned off a bit easier. The orange color is getting stained in less than a week of use and won't wipe off easily. I can tell these are going to be long-term shoes because they're high-quality and won't wear down quickly, but I think next time I'll get a darker color that doesn't show dirt as much. He's practicing getting his shoes tied quickly and will be using these at school, for PE and for sports practices. It's a great all-around shoe! We are very happy with it. My son is proud to show off his new Nikes at school.

First of all, Nike is KNOWN for style & the Ava Rover is the epitome of that. My son enjoyed how comfortable they are. He said they give him Spider-Man speed as soon as he puts them on.

I�m really happy with them. The fit is true to size, and he says they feel comfortable right away without needing a long break-in period. The design is sharp and sporty, which he loves, and they look good with both casual clothes and his school outfits.

The fabric feels durable but still lightweight, so I don�t worry about them falling apart quickly with how active he is. What I like most is that they seem to hold up well even after a lot of running around, and they�re easy to clean.

In my eyes the shoes are perfect, but if I could change one thing, I�d like a little more cushioning in the sole for extra support, but otherwise these are solid everyday sneaker. I�d definitely buy them again.

These sneakers are both functional and fashionable. The bright colors are eye catching and exciting without being overstated. They are perfect to wear for walking, running, the playground and activities. The fit is perfect and very comfortable. They stay on, but feel airy and spacious. My daughter's feet feel fantastic, even after playing all day in these sneakers. They seem durable and have held up well to full days of outdoor play at summer camp!

I'm loving these shoes! They have just the right features to keep kids comfortable throughout the day!

I'm liking the small but mighty features they've sprinkled throughout.

- The cushioning is soft, comfortable, springy, and supportive.

- The top of the shoe is breathable, which is a must for kids who don't quit running around.

- The sole is grips well, giving me peace of mind. No slips and slides here. Even though it's grippy, it's flexible at the same time!

- The shoe itself looks so good! It elevates any outfit and gives the kids space to roam around free and comfy!

My little one has been happy with these and there haven't been any complaints! His feet are secure, comfortable, and the shoes look super stylish!

These instantly became my daughter�s favorite pair of shoes! The bright, colorful design speaks to her style, and the quality and support of a Nike shoe offer the value I�m looking for as a parent.

The shoes fit true-to-size with other Nikes we�ve purchased in the past, and the fabric and fit is comfortable for my daughter who prefers a little room in the toe box. I also like that they�re wipeable, should (�when) they get dirty.

My 12-year-old son loves these shoes and would highly recommend them! They were super comfortable for him right out of the box and needed no break-in time at all. He wore these on a long weekend getaway where he pounded the pavement all day for several days in a row and his feet never hurt. No blisters, no hot spots or rubbing; just happy feet and an even happier kid!

If there was anything my son would change about these shoes, it would be offering them in more masculine colors. When he first saw them he thought they looked kind of girly with the pink swoosh, but I think the color is growing on him. I would also like to see them offered in darker colors that don�t show dirt quite so easily.

Overall, my son is very happy with the Ava Rover and cannot wait to wear them when he starts 7th grade in a few weeks.

The Nike Ava Rover has a really nice look and appeal. It is sporty, sleek, and functional. Upon having my daughter try on the shoe, she immediately commented on how good the shoe felt on her foot. She has wide, flat feet so finding shoes that are cute but also comfy has presented its challenges. However, with the Ava Rover, she loved the look, and she definitely loved the feel. It was not too tight and appeared to run true to size. The design of the shoe is sleek with a sporty edge, in my opinion. I like the color scheme as well. It is different but surprisingly matched with a lot of her clothing items. The shoe is also very lightweight, which made for hassle free play time. Although we have had the shoe for a short time, the fabric seems durable and easy to clean, which is saying a lot because my child can be very rough on a pair of shoes. The fabric is also very giving so it does not restrict the foot in any way, which is great for wide, flat feet. I think it can be concluded that I am real fan of this shoe because of how well it worked for my daughter's feet. Finding shoes that work for her can be challenging at times, but this shoe was a complete win. I do not have any complaints about the shoe and would highly recommend it for any child.

I got these shoes for my athletic daughter and she LOVES them. She said they fit perfectly and were comfortable. The design is updated and cool and the fabric is durable. She loved the color and said they were perfect for her back to school "fit". I'm happy that we found a solid pair of shoes that were stylish enough for my teen daughter. Personally I love the rubber bottom as I feel like we get much longer wear on these types of shoes.

The Nike Ava Rover sneakers are an awesome every day shoe. They are like the "all-purpose" of shoes. They super comfortable for my son and he has worn them for a variety of activities from rehearsals for a musical, to physical activities, day trips, and regular everyday wear. The beautiful color Celestial Gold color scheme makes a statement without being too bold. As ironic as it sounds, they are both bold and understated in the best ways. My son, who was skeptical of the color scheme at first, thinks the light peach color on the front of the shoe accents the gold/orange color perfectly. The colors are not one dimensional, especially the gold/orange, as it looks to have many different hues, That gives them an even sharper, more unique look. He also loves how the bottom side and back of the show almost look pixelated. If anything were to be changes, we both agreed that we would love to see more of the neon pink type color of the "Swoosh" accents.

Beyond looks, this show fits well and is super comfortable. The 7Y size fits him well, and also just barely fit me, but I was able to try them on and was amazed by the comfort. I was a little jealous that they weren't mine! My son loves the thicker sole, as he says it feels "bouncier" and makes him feel taller. He has worn these shoes every day since receiving them, even though he's normally a throw a slip on/slide kind of kid, especially now, in the summer months. I would definitely recommend these shoes for both kids and adults who are looking for comfortable shoes that are great for most activities and daily wear. They are genuinely a statement of comfort with the striking color pattern and soft, well cushioned body.

This shoe is a really elevated sneaker look. It is perfect for school as it pairs well with casual clothing, as well as more put together looks. It maintains an athletic feel, while also looking great with jeans and khakis. The shoes are comfortable and fit my child well.

With kids feet growing so quickly, it's hard to reason paying for style over sensibility. The Ava Rover has you covered. These sneakers are perfect. As a parent, the outer material washes up easily. The quality of the shoes is like no other. As a kid, my son was thrilled to see them when we opened the box. The color is bright, yet muted so not too out there. The sole is thick and extra cushy inside. He loved the design in the soles being geometric style. When he wears these shoes, he has an extra pep to his step. You can just tell he feels cool and instyle. He honestly feels like a trend setter wearing the Ava Rover. They fit true to size. I wish they came in more color options. My son struggles to tie his shoes, so an elastic slip on without ties would be a nice option for some.

I am a very active mother of three, constantly on the move heading to baseball games, soccer games or getting up early for a workout of my own before the chaos begins. These shoes are very comfortable when you're in them all day. I walked on gravel, pavement, dirt and even tried them on a treadmill and elliptical. I couldn't feel the textures I walked on through the sole but they're still very lite weight. The design is a unique look that I love, enjoying the waves on the sides. I got compliments everywhere I went from people I know and complete strangers. The fabric is a little stiff where the waves are and doesn't allow your feet to breathe. I wore them to a baseball game in 95� heat and my feet felt sweaty. This was an unusual feeling for me but it was also unusually hot out. I still would purchase these shoes again due to the comfort and style of the shoe.

Nike Ava Rover are my daughters� new favorite shoes for everyday use. As soon as she saw them, she had to have them as yellow is her favorite color and the Ava Rovers pulled her right to them. They feel very true to size for her feet. The look for these shoes are something different yet she loves the way they look which might have been the color again. These shoes feel like they are going to last till her feet grow and need to be replaced with another pair which happens so quickly for kids. I just wish these weren�t so expensive for kids� shoes yet they have made her so happy I will get her another pair. I personally can�t wait to get my own pair of Ava Rovers with how much she loves them. Nike Ava Rover are now my daughters go to shoes now and I see her wearing this style of Nike shoes for a long time now.

My son was so excited when these shoes came in. He immediately loved the style and color of them and couldn�t wait to try them on. The style is unique and eye catching without being too over the top. I love how most of the fabric and materials used will be easy to clean and take care of. The shoes are very breathable and help keep his feet cool on these hot summer days. He also loves how grippy the soles are and the flexibility of the shoe when he�s outside playing basketball and soccer!

They are true to size and fit him well. Initially he said they felt a little narrow on his toes but broke in quickly after wearing them for a few days. He has worn them every day since and doesn�t want to take them off since they�re so comfortable! He hasn�t complained about his feet hurting even when we�ve done a lot of walking.

His favorite part is definitely the ReactX foam which provides a ton of cushion and comfort plus the bright colors! He said there is nothing he would change about the shoe!

As soon as my son tried the Ava Rover sneaker, we were pleasantly suprised. It's roomy, yet fits well and feels like you're walking on a cloud. There wasn't a need to break them in at all, which we were expecting. The design is nice with a wave-like look to the sole. The tongue has light foam cushion and makes it not shift during lacing and activities. We love the bright two-tone color that really pops with the sole design. Fabric is comfortable and doesn't absorb rain water as quick as other designs. The only issue we came across is with the laces. Sometimes it stays on great and some times only one side loosens in motion. Could be a defect to just that 1 lace. Not a deal breaker, though! Overall, we are very happy with the quality and structure of the sneaker.

My 7yo son has been wearing the Ava Rovers for about a week and they've moved right into the rotation. He's a very active boy who always like to look good, so these shoes check all the boxes.
He loves how bright they are but he also says they're extremely comfortable and says "they feel like pillows for my feet" which must be a good thing. He spends the majority of the day outside and his feet don't get hot, so the material breaths well. They also clean up easily with a quick wipe.
For looks, these are stand out but are simple - he can wear them for playing, for school, for church or out to dinner. Glad to have a nice looking pair of shoes for him that he can wear with comfort and confidence.

When first unboxing these shoes I was impressed with the quality of the materials, fabric, and overall feel. These are built to last and will have a good run with our kids who normally wear shoes out very quickly.

The design is sleek and while the colors are flashy, it doesn�t feel overly flashy. The colors flow well together and are very eye catching in a good way.

My favorite thing about these shoes is they are built well, and have good support for your feet. If I could change anything, it might be the colors. I do think they are nice and sleek, but they are not my absolute favorite colors.

I am impressed with how well-made these shoes are, with sturdy soles and strong laces. My son is hard on footwear, but I expect these will have no difficulties in holding up through the coming school year and beyond.

The only tiny thing I would change is to make the laces longer, as my son�s high instep needs a little more space. These do work for him, but having a bit longer laces for tying would be a plus.

My 11 year old daughter was sent a pair of the Ava Rovers and at first she was hesitant because they are a bright yellow/gold/orange color.

She tried them out and she said it felt like she was walking on a cloud. She loves the shape of the tongue and the cushioning when she has to run indoors for PE (these poor AZ kids are indoors for PE and recess). She had no blisters after wearing them all day walking around middle school campus and even through PE.

Her little middle school buddies LOVED how cool the design on the bottom of the shoes were. I agree, it�s neat!

As a mom, I love that the fabric is super easy to wash. These shoes won�t look dirty and gross after only 1 week of wear.

She is looking forward to wearing these shoes to train during cross country this year! I�ll keep this review updated if I can about how they last and how her feet feel through the miles!

My 7yo loves how comfortable these Nikes are. The first time he wore them, he said it felt like he was walking on marshmallows. Our family can't agree on if the swoosh is pink or orange. He has wider almost flat feet, which makes shoes a challenge at times, especially while he's still figuring out how to tie laces in a way that stays tied. He's able to slip these on and off and keep them tied for regular wear.

The material feels durable and able to wipe clean. You can feel the texture of the yellow ribbing on the inside with your hands, but my son says it doesn't bother his feet. There's quite a bit of padding around the ankle and in the tongue of the shoe.

My son says the only thing he'd change is maybe a different color, but he really likes the thick yellow sole.
