These were warn by my 6 year old daughter! She absolutely loved them! The are very comfortable according to her and she loves the style of them. As a parent I love the material they are made of and the fit was spot on. They are easy for her to get on and off and I�m a huge fan of the soft touch material that they are made of! They are put together very well and I would recommend them for people of all ages!

Bringing back the air uptempo as a retro brings back the memories when I was in the same age range when they originally came out. Shoes look to have the same comfort as they did when I had them when I was younger, also have the same ruggedness as my son treats them as a cross trainer as he does everything w/ them. They�re used as an everyday shoe & will last a pretty long time. I think I�ll pick up another pair for myself for nostalgia reasons!

First off, I LOVED the Air More Uptempo when they first came out in the 1990s. I though that the word �AIR� spelled out on the side was the coolest thing to happen to basketball shoes since Michael Jordan when I was in junior high. Getting a pair for my son was a no-brainer. Fashion and function in one retro design! My 10 year old loves them and delights in telling his friends that it�s a design from �96. He�s worn them to a summer basketball camp, playing outside daily, and to a them park or two and they look just as good as the day we took them out of the box. Not even a stitch is busted after several months of wear�and that is really saying something because my son has a knack for destroying shoes at recess at school and at the park with his friends playing a variety of modified sports on asphalt (soccer, kickball, dodgeball, basketball, etc.). His only negative comment is that they are heavier than some of his running shoes, but that is to be expected with high tops. I recommend this shoe to any active preteen that wants to play hard and look good doing it.

My son loved the shoe very much shoe comfort is perfect except one rubber blue strap broke on the top were the shoe lace goes threw it broke pretty easy but for the shoe itself my son loves them

The Nike Uptempo looks like a bulky shoe, however they not a heavy shoe. The shoes are light and comfortable. My son wore these shoes to the amusement park and never complained of sore feet. He also loves the extra inches of height these shoes provide. I would highly recommend this shoe.

I got the Uptempos for my 9 year old daughter and she loves them. They�re extremely comfortable and very supportive. I thought she�d just wear them for basketball but she wears them almost everyday!

I have always loved the design of the Uptempo's since I can remember. I had the chicago pair many years back (2000-ish) and wore it til the soles separated. Since then, I wanted a new pair. This is my first pair since then and the feeling still remains the same. The build is still amazing. The big "AIR" logo covering that wraps around the medial and lateral sides of the shoes are timeless and beautiful to look at. The comfort to me is still one of the best even with all these new technology they add to the new basketball shoes. The traction is amazing for playing basketball (as it should be) and as a lifestyle shoe, these shoes can be worn all day without feeling any discomfort. The upper material is soft but sturdy so you know it won't easily wear. The midsole with its iconic bubbles are still as bouncy as I remember and gives a very nice cushy feeling. The only issue if you can consider it an issue is the weight of the shoe. This is a classic, bulky basketball shoe of the 90's and just like the Barkley's, Jordan's, JKidd's, and the other Uptempo's of the time, it is larger and heavier than the basketball shoes of today. Sizing wise, these shoes fit me true to size and can even be a little big since there is just so much room and ability to loosen or tighten. I recommend going true to size or half size down if you have narrow feet. Overall, these shoes are still one of my all time favorite basketball shoes created and Pippen's all time greatest looking shoes. I just need to get the Chicago colorway again.

Highly recommend these shoes! They�re very cute and stylish. I�m actually looking for more color schemes because the kid loves them! She thinks I�m cool bcuz she got these for school lol! They�re unisex so it makes it easier to expand her color palette when shopping for school. She loves them, they fit wonderfully as her feet are slightly wide. No issues with width while wearing socks. You definitely cannot go wrong with these sneakers!

This is such a classic shoe originally released in mid 90�s. The Uptempo runs tts for me. It is a very comfortable for. The color is a beautiful blue! The Uptempo adds a pop of color and a �cool� feel to a basic outfit, elevating your style.

These shoes were used by my wife for a couple of weeks and she loved them. She was looking for something a lil on the chunky side and these fit the bill. The color was vibrant and the materials/build were good. The shoe did run on the bigger side so i would probably go a half size down. Only thing she didn't like was the white swoosh on the toe because that's always the spot that gets dirtiest! Our dog stepped on it and I couldn't get it bright white again! Overall 9/10 though!

The moment I saw these shoes I knew my son had to have a pair. Seeing him wear these shoes brings so many nostalgic memories. They still carry the same durable materials, which of course is very important specially when kids tend to ruin shoes quickly, and comfort is still there, haven�t heard one complaint from my son considering he has a wide foot. Overall still a great shoe and I�m very happy my son gets to own a pair as well.

This shoe was pretty comfortable but I am not a fan of the chunky design. Its great for playing basketball and fit was just right. Overall a nice sports shoe.

The Nike Air More Uptempo is lightweight and durable for young kids. The elastic bands on the padded tongue and pull tab helps with putting on the sneakers very easy and fast. The elastic bands on top of the laces provide added comfort. The outsole looks very durable and the AIR design is trendy. I would make the shoe wider for those kids with wider feet.

My daughter loves these shoes! These shoes are classic with old school flare but still provide awesome performance even in todays sneaker industry! Everyone is commenting on her shoes (even the opposing team) during the game and as well after the game is concluded. These are a must have! Book em� Danno!

Comfy and cool shoes for active and stylish kids! These shoes were super comfortable and she wore them all day with no complaints. Love that they are high tops and have Nike Air cushion. The elastic fabric between the laces were a great addition to them. Wish there were Velcro straps for more on the go, but great shoe nonetheless! She will just need more practicing tying shoe laces :) Her favorite part of the shoe was how comfortable they are and the vibrant color.

Shoes are very visually appealing! But when you look up close you can see a lot of glue pieces hanging off and they just look cheaply made. Maybe i just got a bad quality pair it�s unlike Nike to have issues. I do love the style of the shoe it looks bulky but does not feel bulky when wearing. I do recommend sizing up because these do run small but would be comfortable when they fit properly.

My son absolutely loves these shoes! Throwback to the shoes I had in Middle School and the blue color stands out! The fit of these are just right, they seem like they will hold up over time. He uses them for school and loves playing indoor basketball at school during gym with them. I would definitely buy these again, and am actually looking for the same shoe in a different color way.

These shoes were for my 10 year old athletic daughter. I told her that these were a classic back when I was growing up. She hasn't stopped smiling ever since the box came in the mail! She opted for a loud color (battle blue) and they are even better looking in person! She mentioned that they fit just right and seem to be really durable with excellent grip on pavement! In fact these sneakers are built like tanks. Not the lightest shoe out there but the quality is definitely on point like an elbow! The comfort and style easily outweigh the only negative, which is the weight of the shoe. If you haven't picked up a staple of a shoe like this for you or your kid then what are you really doing? She's extremely satisfied with her "Awesome Airs" as she likes to call them!!

Personally, the "Nike Air More Uptempo" is one of Nike's more iconic silhouettes of all-time. The durability of the "Nike Air More Uptempo" is above average, from working an eight hour shift to exercising in the gym, the "More Uptempo" is a reliable choice. The tongue pull tap is one of my favorite feature on the shoes. Medium and battle blue color -way complements the silhouette well, causing this sneaker to stand out in crowds.

Definitely outside the norm for my son who exclusively wears soccer shoes. Fit great. He claims they are extra comfy.

Shoe fits great but hard to put on due to the strap at the ankles. My niece wore them for school and was very pleased with how comfortable here feet felt after running around all day. Her only dislike was the tightness of the strap around her ankles. Very easy to lace up and beautiful design

I really liked the design of this shoe, it was really unique! I�m not much of blue person & wasn�t crazy about the color way initially, but when I put the shoes on with an outfit, my mind was changed.
The shoe does have a very exact fit, so if you like a roomy fit, definitely get a size up! This shoe is good for a casual outing, I wouldn�t wear it on a day I plan to do a lot of walking or activities. Overall, I loved it & would definitely get it in other colors.

The air more uptempos are classic! I got these for my 10 year old daughter as I had the originals that released back in 1996. She loves them. They run just right as far as size goes and the feel of them is average which is to be expected because it's a basketball shoe and not a walking shoe. We love the design of these shoes, with the "AIR" spelled out on the side in big letters and the air pockets on the sole, it's a very well designed shoe. Just like the title says, this shoe is a timeless classic and I wouldn't change a thing about it.

So my kid have had these pair of shoes for a few weeks now. To be honest I wish they looked a little better, the design is a little different than what I am comfortable with. The lace design is a little weird but do provide good support and are okay uncomfortability. Color is bright so if you plan on matching plan accordingly. Overall they are nothing special in my opinion.

My 7 year old son was initially very excited about this shoe. The look of the shoe and the air pocket were very appealing to him. Due to the higher top and the need to tighten them for a comfortable wear my son only wears them as a last option. They are very difficult to get on and off. Once he is in them he loves how comfortable and supportive they are. As a larger kid he often complains about his feet by the end of the day, but these provide him the comfort and support for an all day wear.

This shoe would be great for an older child or a child with more tenacity for putting on the shoe independently.

After wearing my 1st pair of Nike Air Uptempos for a few weeks I�d love to share my thoughts! The air tempo is a favorite among kids & ball players alike. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair of the coveted (Scottie Pippens as I grew up calling them) shoe & upon receiving my 1st pair, my general thought was the shoes very bulky & will be hard to wear on a regular basis. The weight of the shoe was also something I couldn�t get past after first trying the pair on feet. I know this is a basketball shoe & for myself, basketball is a game of athleticism & endurance & wearning a shoe this heavy, could be a hinderance to both. The air written on the side is a huge eye soar, something I wouldn�t normally choose for myself, but I�m a fan of nostalgia and wanted to see just what makes this shoe so coveted.
The good! This shoes very well put together! From a quality standpoint, I believe it will be very difficult to find a shoe that will last longer than the Nike air uptempo. I wore the shoe to the gym 5 days a week for 2 weeks & on a brisk 5k walk 3x each week & the shoes durability is not in question. It seems that Nikes perfected the formula to keep shoes together longer over the past 50 years & this shoe reaches that standard. If you have an active kid who�s really hard on shoes, this is definitely a shoe you would want to consider.
Luckily my son (seven) & I wear the same size so he too wore the shoe around the house on several occasions & he was a huge fan of not only the look, but also the comfort of the shoe. Prior to this shoe, his largest complaint with Nike shoes was always the time it took to break the shoe in. This shoe seemed made wider than most & that added another level of comfort that can�t be understated. I too, shared the same sentiment. I loved the way the shoe felt straight out of the box. There was no break in period and for that this will be a shoe I go to for him n the future.
In review the Nike air uptempos a very straight forward basketball shoe, somewhat outdated & hard to wear for adults on a regular basis but an excellent shoe for childrens everyday wear. Very comfortable After u get past the weight & bulky appearance, this shoes Durablity scores a 10 & something I have no doubt will last the entire school year!

Shoe was for my teenage (13) daughter! Thought the shoe was bulky at first but when she put them on her feet, they actually were a nice fit. Great support and comfort. The color of the shoe is very nice, especially for women/girls! Overall, a very nice shoe, couldn�t find anything negative to review on this product!
